Step 1 of 4: Select Analyte and Test Type

To create a new study, first define the laboratory location.
If using a regulatory approved assay, select the assay from the package assay list.
Otherwise define the test type, assay, analyte, and instrument characteristics.

Assay Info
    • Validation: establishing performance specifications of a laboratory-developed test or a modified regulatory-approved test.
    • Verification: providing confirmation that a regulatory-approved or cleared assay (e.g. CE or FDA IVD approved test) is performing as expected.
    • * indicates availability of AcroMetrix® materials for the specified sample type.

Quick Tip

To create a new study, select the analyte and test type, select a guideline, select your equipment, and save the study. To move from one step to the next click the orange "Next" button at the bottom of the page.

Packaged assays are available for verification studies. When selecting a packaged assay, certain fields will be filled in depending upon the assay selected.
